Michael A. Burstein

Michael A. Burstein has been nominated for ten Hugo awards, three Nebulas, one Sturgeon, as well as winning the 1997 John W. Campbell award. His latest story, "The Soldier Within," is one of a collection in Future Weapons of War, edited by Joe Haldeman and Martin Harry Greenberg.

A.M. Muffaz

A.M. Muffaz is a 25-year-old Malaysian writer. Her work has recently appeared in Chiaroscuro and Fantasy Magazine. She is currently working on her first novella, set in Kuala Lumpur, about a conservative Muslim man haunted by evolutionary theory. More about her and her work is available here.

Alex Dally MacFarlane

Alex Dally MacFarlane has been writing ever since the discovery of computer games made her think that if stories could be found on a 32-bit cartridge, why not in the mind of an eleven-year-old girl? Now she has finished her BA in War Studies and History at King's College London and from June will be working as a non-fiction editor. Her short fiction has appeared in Behind the Wainscot and Crimson Highway, and is forthcoming in the Sporty Spec anthology edited by Karen A. Romanko. You can find her lurking around Livejournal under the name of Alankria.

Jacqueline West

Jacqueline West currently lives, writes, and teaches in Madison, WI. Her work has recently appeared in journals including Chizine, Aoife's Kiss, Kenoma, The Pedestal Magazine, and Mytholog, as well as in the anthology Thou Shalt Not... from Dark Cloud Press.
